Lisa Spector Rothkrug graduated with a BA in History from the University of Michigan, and a Masters degree in Architecture from Columbia University before working as a designer in the office of Robert A.M. Stern. After becoming a Registered Architect, Lisa started her own firm in 1993, focusing mainly on interior architecture and design. Lisa’s background and experience as an architect lends a unique perspective to her work, which is strongly rooted in classical proportion and attention to materials and textures. She is best known for her ability to seamlessly combine classical detailing with a modern sensibility to create sophisticated, timeless interiors.
After attending SUNY at Plattsburgh and the University of Copenhagen, Roberta London Silverstein returned to New York to work for Signature Magazine. She later became Merchandise Controller for Barneys New York, and after taking time to raise a family, joined Lisa at Spector London to collaborate on local architecture and design projects. Fostering a love of art and design their partnership developed into a close working relationship, more than 25 years in the making. Together their individual strengths create a dynamic which informs the design process in a unique and exciting way.
Joining the Spector London team in 2009, JoAnne Pisano has played a crucial role in the design process. With a Bachelors in Architecture from NYIT and with over a decade of experience in the industry she has led projects from schematic design to construction documents. She has a respect for historical architecture coupled with an appreciation of the playfulness and brightness of modern design. In her spare time, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, and traveling the world for experiences and inspiration.
